From April 28 through April 30, 2026, Burt County will host CEC 2026 at the Carson Civic Center in Tekamah. This event is a chance to shine a light on the kind of good work that often happens quietly in rural communities every single day. Around here, progress does not always come with a lot of noise. More often, it comes from neighbors working together, communities choosing partnership over competition, and local businesses building something strong right where they are planted.
That is exactly what makes Burt County worth paying attention to.
