Summer event season in Tekamah is shaping up, and one of our favorite community traditions is right around the corner.
The Tekamah Chamber of Commerce and Tekamah Community Foundation Golf Scramble is coming up on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Northridge Country Club. This 4-person scramble is always a fun way to spend an afternoon with friends, coworkers, or fellow community supporters while also backing two organizations that do so much for Tekamah.
The tournament will begin with a 3:00 p.m. shotgun start and includes 9 holes of golf, followed by food, flag prizes, and drawings. It is the kind of event that mixes a little friendly competition with a lot of hometown fun.
Teams can register for $200 per team, and there is also a meal-only option for $20 for anyone who would like to join in the evening festivities without golfing. Whether you are putting together a full team or just want to come out and enjoy the meal and community atmosphere, there is a way for everyone to be part of the day.
In addition to team sign-ups, there are also sponsorship opportunities available. Hole sponsorships are a great way for local businesses and supporters to be part of the event and show their support out on the course. Flag prize donations are also welcome and help make the day even more fun for participants.
